Friend: Dude, they told me you are a programmer, right?
Programmer: Yeah
Friend: That’s great! ’cause my printer is not working…
Programmer: Man, which part of ‘programmer’ have you missed?
Programmer: Yeah
Friend: That’s great! ’cause my printer is not working…
Programmer: Man, which part of ‘programmer’ have you missed?
Original: Você é programador?

Very nice.. LOL…
This is a good idea of doing the strips in english!!

Brazilian comics for export! Yeah, the “causos” of the IT crowd are quite universal indeed!
My best wishes of… while (true) { success++; }
Wish you luck with the English version, man, hope you’ll be as successful as with the pt-BR one. I just know the stories are universal, unfortunately.
Cool! But be prepared to receive suggestions from overseas too
Yes!! Good Luck @RealProgrammer!!
The programmer should’ve facepalmed in the third panel!
sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!
Congratulations!
Can you fix the RSS feed to show the image?
Thanks!
Awesome cartoon, look forward to following it.
I would suggest a better translation for the 3rd panel, as ‘Great! ’cause my printer is not working…’
Agreed, “It’s great” sounds weird in this context.
Oh, man… LOL
That happens… When it happens, it sucks!
Can you fix the RSS feed to show the image?
LOL! After, can you fix my blender?

It is funny that the programmer’s tshirt has HTML in it which is not a programming language.
He uses nerd t-shirts, not only “programmer’s t-shirts”.
If you want to see all t-shirts, look at http://vidadeprogramador.com.br (some t-shirts are in brazilian portuguese)
This is so true it almost hurts.
This man is not a real programmer.
In 1980, when Richard M. Stallman had a problem with his printer, he started writing a free driver to be able to fix it. That was the beginning of free software.
I loved this cartoon, yet I know what you are getting at here Thomas yet I do believe the two key words in your comment were “HE” had a problem with “HIS” printer, I can’t begin to tell you all of the stories of just because you are a Developer “Programmer” that even your neighbor thinks you can fix any computer issue, be it their wireless or CAT5 connections, printers, network, viruses, or any crazy thing that their computer may be doing, including fixing a bad piece of software that they downloaded from the internet. In just the last week I have been asked to become a Hardware Technician twice, a systems administrator, a web site designer, graphic artist, and even a cell phone repairman, and although not last week once to fix the computer on their car all because I am a developer, so I know everything about computers right? This comic mimics my life!
